The University of Makran (UOM) is a public sector university located in Panjsar, Turbat, in the Makran region of Balochistan, Pakistan. Founded in 2022, the university was created by elevating the Turbat Campus of the University of Balochistan to an independent status. This development aims to improve access to higher education for the students of remote and underserved areas of southern Balochistan. The university is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
