UVAS, as the Lahore Veterinary College, is one of the oldest institutions in Asia dedicated to veterinary education and research. It was upgraded to university status in 2002 and is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC).

Undergraduate Programs:
- Tuition Fee per Semester: Rs. 32,500
- Examination Fee per Semester: Rs. 13,000
- One-time Admission Charges: Rs. 20,500
- Total for 1st Semester: Rs. 66,000 . University of the Punjab
Postgraduate Programs:
- M.Phil. Programs: Approximately Rs. 40,810 per semester
- Ph.D. Programs: Approximately Rs. 98,380 per semester.
