Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU) is one of Pakistan’s top public medical universities, located in Rawalpindi, Punjab. How to Apply Online

For MBBS and BDS:

  1. Apply via the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) admission portal: https://pmc.gov.pk
  2. Select Rawalpindi Medical University as one of your preferred choices
  3. Upload documents and submit the online form
  4. Wait for merit list publication based on MDCAT score + academic marks

For Allied Health Sciences and Postgraduate Programs:

  1. Visit RMU’s official website: https://rmur.edu.pk
  2. Navigate to the Admissions section
  3. Choose your desired program and read the eligibility criteria
  4. Fill out the online application form and upload documents
  5. Pay the application fee and submit the form
  6. Appear in the entry test or interview if required

Application Fee

  • MBBS/BDS (via PMC): As per PMC policy (usually PKR 1,000–1,500 per preference)

Eligibility Criteria

MBBS

  • FSC (Pre-Medical) with at least 65% marks
  • Must appear in MDCAT and secure qualifying marks
  • Admission based on merit formula (MDCAT + HSSC + Matric)

Allied Health Sciences

  • Intermediate (Pre-Medical) with 50% or above

MPhil / MS / PhD

  • MPhil: MBBS/BSc with minimum 60% / 2.5 CGPA
  • PhD: MPhil/MS with 3.0 CGPA, plus interview/test
