Peoples University of Medical & Health Sciences for Women in Nawabshah, Pakistan, have a unique story. It's all thanks to the great leader Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. In 1974, a particular medical college for girls was started by him. This was a big step for medical education. It's called Peoples Medical College and has made around 6000 lady doctors till now. They also started teaching more advanced things in 2004 to about 600 students.

Initially, the college was part of a school with hostels and an auditorium. The first students started learning in hospitals.

In 2009, the Government of Sindh decided to make the Peoples University of Medical & Health Sciences for Women, Nawabshah. The Governor of Sindh & Chancellor approved this on November 10, 2010. A Vice Chancellor started working on January 8, 2011. They also made a special division to organize exams better. Right now, the university helps with exams.

The university is growing. They're getting a more extensive area of land for it. They're also adding more important people to help run it better.

Peoples Medical College and PUMHSW have a great story. It started with a big idea, and now it's a vital place for girls to learn about medical things and become strong in healthcare.
